"Old Salt of the Seven Seas"
Canvas Print.
(Not just a photo or poster but a work of art!)
This work was inspired by the work of Frank E. Zuccarelli who painted "Old Salt of the Sixth Fleet" as a contractor of the US Navy in 1972. This artwork depicts a seasoned sailor, complete with a grizzled beard, faded dungarees, and a coffee mug, embodying the quintessential image of an experienced naval veteran. I contacted Frank in early 2004 requesting his permission to sell replica prints of his painting.
He granted us that permission in May 2004 and offered to autograph any prints that we sold. Unfortunately, he passed away in February 2012. So, no autographs available. This Picture is dedicated to his work and appreciation for his thoughtfulness to allowing us to promote his work of art. We call it “Old Salt of the Seven Seas” and digitally enhanced the theme to represent all Navy Veterans.
This would make a nice gift and a great addition to any collection or Navy memory. Order several different prints for a fantastic look on a home or office wall.
